Fundraising
Contents
We set ourselves a challenge of raising £11,000 by July 2015 and so far we have raised over £9,000 ….. amazing! There are still lots of ways to get involved
By supporting our Fundraising events….
Rubarbfest, Carlton 24th May 2015
We need cakes, items for the tombola, and help to put up and/or take down the marquee. You made the day a big success last year please support us again this year. If you can help please let a Leader know.
Tuck shops
Emily and Taylor have been running Tuck Shops at various camps and district events. Our next planned tuck shop is at the Harry Potter camp after tea and on the Sunday A. Fundraising has never tasted so good.
Solidarity Badges
you can wear these on your uniform for the next year to show support for those all around the world attending the 23rd World Jamboree. These can be ordered through Emily (Dizzy) or Taylor (Darzee) we only have a few of these left! Each badge costs £2.
Unit Badges
Each unit attending the Jamboree designs its own badge, since we are supporting 2 units, 51 and 69 we have access to 2 unique designs that you can buy and add to your camp blanket. Anyone bag packing on 25th April at Asda Middleton will get one of the unit 69 badges as a thank you, these are £2 to buy.
Don’t have a camp blanket? – see a leader for information on camp blankets and how you can use them to create a lasting and useful record of your adventures in scouting!
