Camp Details for parents

Meeting Place: Bramham Park, Thorner Road, SatNav LS23 6LT
Dropoff 
Cubs & Scouts: Between 5:15pm and 6:30pm Friday 11th July, Bramham Park, Thorner Road
        Beavers: 9am Saturday 12th July, Bramham Park, Thorner Road
Collect: Between 3pm and 6pm Friday 11th JulyBramham Park, Thorner Road
Transport: Parents to arrange their own transport – car sharing recommended!
Additional Notes:

  • Please eat tea before coming to camp though a light supper will be provided later in the evening
  • Arrive in full uniform as normal
  • Follow the marshals on arrival where Ziggy (or other Leader) from our Group will meet you and direct you to our camp.
  • You will then have a wristband attached which notes your District (SLAM), Group (8th Carlton) so we can make sure all children attending always end up back in the right place. Your wristband will also note your pre-allocated tent reference (like at the Star Wars Camp).

Costs

Deadline for payment: Thursday 22nd May

Payment to be made by Bank Transfer into the normal 8th Carlton Group Bank Account with Reference: CH14 <NAME>

 NB: Payment DOES NOT cover transport to and from site.

There is a badge competition now open to design the camp badge and there is a link on the site to download the application form so get your cub involved. Their effort will be recognised both towards cub badge work and they could get their design produced (see attachment).
Exciting times ahead for Beavers Cubs Scouts Young Leaders Explorers Leaders and ‘you’.
If you as a parent/helper would like to join in too please let us know as we need to ensure DBS ckecks are in place if you would like to camp and any help before and after the event is welcome too. Day visitors we also be welcome on the Saturday at a reduced cost. (including Beavers)
