We looked on Tripadvisor and decided to visit Beaumont Park in Huddersfield.
We got the train from Leeds to Huddersfield ( only takes 20 mins), We then got a bus to the park (5 mins from town). We have never been here before so it was like being on a Mystery tour.
We found the park straight away, The Victorian park is situated on a valley. You are quite high up and the views are amazing. There is a woodland walk which Louis loved, lots of hidden steps and Rocks to climb, We also came across the origional park entrance, which at first sight looks like a Castle. There is also a walk along the old railway line, with Information boards to read.
We then found the Play area, its not very big, has a swing and climbing area, also has a large field with a Footy net. We then came across The Bandstand, where to our surprise a Swing Band was playing. ( I think bands only play on Sundays), so we sat and had a Burger and enjoyed the band.
Me, Chris and Louis had a Fantastic day out exploring a new place, We walked lots and enjoyed being outside on such a lovely day!!! I would definitly recommend Beaumont Park, Its quite a magical place!!!
