Cubs practice Unihoc in run up to District Competition
Tonight at Cubs, because I was away at a school Open Evening, Sara “Oo” opened and oversaw the evenings activity – with support from the rest of the Adult and Young Leaders. When I got to the meeting at about 8pm, I found the cubs well engrossed in their Unihoc practice, followed by some other active games – they seemed to be having lots of FUN as the photos below show 🙂
“Oo” also got this video of the action… WARNING – it’s NOISY with the Cubs cheering each other on! 🙂
Thanks very much to my Team for running such a fun evening for our Pack! – you guys rock!
Awards: Joe R was awarded his Hobbies Badge which he earned last week after presenting to the Pack his hobby – “Stunts on his Scooter”; He also received his Community Challenge badge after being involved in the organisation of a Macmillan Coffee Morning at his school… making 5 out of the 6 Challenge Badges that he needs to get his CSSA. – Well done, Joe!
And finally, we asked the Group Scout Leader, John “Chil” Williams to present James A with his Chief Scout’s Silver Award (CSSA) after being awarded his remaining Challenge badges the week before.
Brilliant effort, James – well done!
Loving the blogs Ziggy keep it up. I trust the parents enjoy seeing what actually takes place each Thursday between 7pm and 8.30pm
