A soggy wet Tour De Phoenix Camp – but still loadsa fun

11 June 2014

Hi Everyone,

I just want to say a massive thankyou to all the leaders who got involved in the Camp.

Chil, Akela, Goshawk, Ziggy, Red Beaver, Blue Beaver, Bagheera, Paul and Lauren for running the activities.

Julia and Sara “Oo” for keeping us fed and watered all weekend.

A big thankyou to Sara’s husband Jason, Ziggy’s wife, Kay, Paul Argyle, Kris and Jo Dixon who came and helped out.

I also want to thank all the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers for enjoying every minute whatever the weather!!!

This was Beavers annual sleepover. This year i thought we would venture outside the Church Hall so i decided to Camp at the Phoenix.

I think the children really enjoyed going somewhere different and hopefully next year we will try somewhere different again.

Over the weekend we have had an excercise bike on camp ( Well the theme was tour de Phoenix) and all the Children got involved and had a go. The children biked about 79 miles in total. (Well Done!!

The Children did Archery, Crate stacking, Low Ropes, Climbing wall and Arts and crafts.

Please leave me some feedbackon what you thought about the Camp. What would you like to do next year??

Thanks everyone, hope i didnt miss anyone out.

Looking forward to the next Camp
